GESTURES YOU SHOULD AVOID IN ALBANIA Fortunately, there are no major gestures a tourist should avoid in Albania, other than the ones you would normally be wary of using at home! Shaking or jiggling your head in Albania means “yes”, and nodding or tipping your head means “no”. This can take some getting used to.

TAKE CASH: Albania is a cash society. You won’t find many shops or restaurants take Eftpos.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival in Tirana Airport and Half Day Walking City Tour

Welcome to Tirana International Airport. Transfer on a private basis to the comforts of your hotel in the city center.

Later after you relax our guide would take you on exciting Tirana walking tour & walking tour will last for about three to four hours.The walking tour includes the new promenade, approaching the Byzantine ruins and walls, reaching the main boulevard with the distinguished Italian buildings, Tirana City Hall, Statue of Skanderbeg, Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National Library and the Opera House and the National Historical Museum.

Proceed the walk to Kalaja e Tiranes (Tirana Castle) where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, a coffee or a desert; or visit a Coffee Shop Museum “Komiteti, located on the ground floor of a building, dating from Enver Hoxha era, which offers a precious opportunity to take a break. Big choice of coffees (excellent!) and local liquors.Entrance fees are not included.

DAY 2

Kruja City Tour on Seat in Coach Basis

After Breakfast you will head out for Kruja City Tour. Kruja is considered one of the principal old town and is one of the most glorious cities in Albania. The walking tour takes you through the cobblestones pathway to the Ottoman bazaar, wooden shops, and castle walls. Visit Skanderbeg Museum within the castle walls and an old house converted in the ethnographic museum will give you insights of the lifestyle in northern part of Albania.
